Katherine Meyerink is a recent graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she received her BFA in Photography.
Photographing spaces has always been a main interest in her photography. She is interested in how our daily routines revolve around different types of spaces in our lives and become backgrounds that are often overlooked by the actions that are performed there. She investigates these backdrops and how these spaces are tied to moments and memories, and can evoke a variety of feelings for each person.
Currently, she is focusing on her ongoing project Kenneth about her father, while continuing to explore her love of spaces.
